Ok so i just got a brand new laptop, only a few hours old and I figured it would be simple to connect, you know click connect and bingo, however it isn’t so. I ran the HP wireless assistant and it still says it cannot connect to the internet. Any ideas? All i want to do is get my email, facebook, and download Itunes. I have my wireless home network up and running and it works because my brother has an HP with XP running and it connects with no problem. What should i do???? PLEASE HELP ME!!!
Ok so i continued and tried everything that you guys told me, however it still doesn’t work. Please note the wireless router is connected to a computer running XP (dont think it matters). WLAN is on, but when i try to connect it simply says cannot connect. is there any software i need to install first?
